Golden Opportunity for Independence/ GOFI

                  

                                                                      GOFI 

              Hi, im Raegan, and i'm going to tell you about the first time i went to go to  place in Walpole so i could see 5 week old golden retriever puppies. I was there for their training if you wanted to go there and volunteer to take care of the puppies. These dogs are raised to help people for if they have disabilities or are paralyzed, they are trained to turn lights on and off, and open and close cabinets. they're also trained for if their owner drops something. For example, they could grab their owners cruches, or cane. And or their tv remote. 

There were 7 puppies and their parents are the Norfolk comunity resource dog Mitch, and one other dog named Hope. The puppies have different color collers so they know which puppy is which. For example, the pink one is Grace. 

Cape Cod

Introduction:

 Every year my family and I go to Cape Cod for 1 week, we stay in Dennis port. It is always super fun when we go, and there is a playground we can go to right next to our hotel, speeking of our hotel, the hotel we are going to The Soundings, and the outsde is the color blue. Me and my sister both have friends, and one of our friends's name is Olivia, we met her at one of the beaches, speeking of beaches we love o go to the pools, 

Pools:

there are a bunch of pools neer our hotel, and we can walk right to them. 

Resturants:

My family and I love the Lighthouse Inn, the Red Nun. The Lighthouse Inn has  playground in front of the resturant, in the back of it is the ocean with a lighthouse, I'm guessing thats why they called it the lighthouse Inn.

Fireworks

My family and me went to go see the fireworks on the Fourth of July and we went to my uncle's house to see them. I was super scared that the fireworks would land on us and the fireworks would be to loud when we got there. So, me, and my mom walked back to the house, and I layed on the couch with the two dogs, Clara, and Hallie. They were super exited to see us again when we got back, and wouldn't stop wagging their tails.I made them both do paw and roll over, then, I gave them both two treats for doing the comands.

Matching Games

 Today is the 12-5-2022, and today, at 4-H, we learned all about  different types of tools for taking care of the horses at Val's barn. We basically did a matching game where you have to match the item to the word for a spot on whatever the item is. I missed it a little but I did see them feeding the horses, I couldn't feed the horses because they said that they were almost done feeding the hoses when we got there. 

After that we saw that Val in one of the stalls that he does not have a horse in we saw that all his bales of hay where all stacked up. We moved one of the hay bales down so everybody could get up on to all of the hay bales.We found two holes. My friend that was there tonight was brave enough to stick his arm in the hole, he called both of the holes '' The never ending holes." I thought it was funny what he called the holes. He was also brave enough to stick his feet in the hole. When he came out of the hole he was covered totally covered in hay. 

A few of the people who were there tonight were Ezra, Lina, Vivian, Noell, Madelyn, and me (Raegan). 

October 24 Painting a Horse

Today is October 24, 2022 and today at 4-H we painted Bandit (one of the horses) as a skeleton for Halloween heheh spooooooooky but it's not halloween untill next Monday we painted a black skeleton  Bandit's body. Horses have 18 ribs.  I thought it was pretty fun. He is defanitly soooo cute. The horses names are Bandit, Dune, Smuggles, Finny, last but not least my favorite horse in the barn... ZEN!!! 

the kids at 4-H tonight were Vivian, Eleanor, Caroline.h, Paige, leena, Caroline g, Raegan, Madelyn, and Olivia, and Aga.
